Abstract:

The increasing demand for efficient and sustainable agricultural practices has necessitated the development of innovative tools and machinery. This project aims to Fabrication of portable fodder harvester has been designed and developed for needs of small-scale farmers. The machine is equipped with a rechargeable battery, with electric motor. The portable fodder harvester features a cutting mechanism which can harvest crops like maize, sorghum, Napier grass and Guinea grass. The portable fodder harvester eliminates the need for fuel, reducing emissions and operating costs. A portable fodder harvester addresses the needs of small to medium-scale farmers by offering a compact, lightweight, and mobile solution for harvesting fodder crops. This device is designed to be user-friendly, energy-efficient, and adaptable to various terrains and crop types. By focusing on innovative design, sustainable practices, and user needs, this project can contribute to more efficient and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
